We congratulate our Apprentice students for all their accomplishments and we invite you to come and celebrate with us on July 14th!

Our apprentice students had the opportunity to participate in our Education Series, such as the Surge Protection & Voltage Effects on HVAC Systems, presented by Able Power Products

Our 1st Year Sarasota campus class, taught by Jeff Purcella,  was able to cover a lot of material, including building a working system they later converted into a trainer for future technicians. Thank you to the generous donation from Aqua Plumbing & Air to help make this project possible. All of the students successfully passed their EPA and HVAC Excellence exams. These certifications provided the apprentices a great head start in their careers. 

Our 1st year class in North Port, had several projects they worked on throughout the year.

This was Robert Verville's 1st year of teaching with our apprentice program. Robert actually participated in our apprenticeship program prior to starting his own company in North Port!

Congratulations to our 3rd year graduates for their hard work and dedication over the past 3 years and their completion of our MACCA Apprentice program!  Our dedicated teacher for 3rd year in Sarasota, Keith Van Fleet, who also taught our 2nd year class in North Port!

Thank you again to Career Edge Funders Collaborative for their generous donation of tools to our HVAC program this year!

Our 2nd year class in Sarasota was taught by John Farraro. John was gracious enough to come and help out the program when we needed a replace teacher during the first month of classes. John definitely stepped up in a big way and we are very grateful for that!

Charging Systems with Accumulators

In air conditioning service, we don't always see systems with accumulators. In fact, they are pretty uncommon unless you work on a lot of heat pumps. However, as heat pumps gain popularity, charging systems with accumulators will be a good skill to have in your tool bag.
