HOW TO REPORT AN UNLICENSED CONTRACTOR

Two Ways to Submit a Report

OPTION 1: Report Directly to DBPR — Not Anonymous

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) regulates and investigates unlicensed contracting activity.

You may report suspected unlicensed activity by:

• Calling the Unlicensed Activity Hotline at 1-866-532-1440
• Emailing ULA@DBPR.state.fl.us
• Completing the DBPR Uniform Complaint Form (DBPR-0070) and mailing it to the address provided on the form

OPTION 2: Report Through MACCA — Confidential

Help protect our industry and community by reporting suspected unlicensed contractor activity through MACCA.

Complete our Unlicensed Contractor Activity Incident Report, and MACCA will forward the information to the appropriate DBPR authorities for review and further investigation.

Your personal information will remain confidential and will not be included with the report submitted to DBPR. MACCA may use your contact information only if follow-up is necessary regarding the incident you reported.
