Who Are MACCA Members?

MACCA members are contracting firms from Charlotte, Manatee, and Sarasota County. They represent professionals working in various segments of the HVACR industry, including residential, commercial, new construction, industrial, and service and repair.

To ensure high standards, MACCA carefully vets prospective members before they can be voted on by the Board of Directors. During the membership review process, certain checks are conducted, such as:

• Checking with the Better Business Bureau for any complaints against the company.
• Verifying with the Federal Trade Commission for any past or ongoing cases involving the company.
• Confirming registration with the Florida Division of Corporations.
• Ensuring the company has workers' compensation coverage by checking with the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers' Compensation.
• Verifying the state contractor's license with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
• These measures help maintain the reputation and credibility of MACCA and its members.
